Last February 28, 2019, DFNN conducted its first charity event for the year, a blood donation drive held in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. In partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, DFNN’s Human Resources and Administration Department (HRAD) and Employee Engagement Vanguards unit, jointly spearheaded this activity as one of the steps towards the establishment of a concrete Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
With over fifty (50) attendees, among those who donated blood were employees of DFNN, its subsidiary, IEST Inc., and staff from other companies in the Bonifacio Technology Center building. In total, all volunteers were able to donate over 9000 mL of blood for storage in the Philippine Red Cross. Each successful donor was provided with a donor card, which allows the Philippine Red Cross to prioritize them for needed blood transfusions.
