Ramon C. Garcia Jr.

Executive Chairman

As President from 1999 – 2001, Mr. Garcia has led a series of funding rounds culminating in its initial public offering (IPO), the first I.T. company to be listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
As President and CEO of iWave, Inc., he improved strategic alliances resulting in the development of various fintech platforms servicing key industries such as the Cagayan Special Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) using iWave’s fintech audit platform. Recently, he created GlobalTradeX (GTX), a sophisticated trading platform licensed to operate within the Freeport Area of Bataan to service clients worldwide.

Mr. Garcia was also the youngest Board of Governor member elected in the history of the Exchange at the age of 27 from 1996 to 1998 and 2000–2001. As a member of the Listing Committee, he was instrumental in the formulation of the Exchange’s Listing Rules and consulted with Philippine lawmakers in the creation of the Securities Regulation Code in his role as a member of the Legislative Committee. He is a consistent representative of the Philippine’s business delegation to a number of Presidential State Visits of President’s Fidel V. Ramos, Joseph Estrada, Gloria M. Arroyo, Benigno C. Aquino, Jr. and Rodrigo R. Duterte to promote the capital markets, Philippine defense IT and business process outsourcing.

He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PGI Systems, Inc., a company based in Singapore. Locally, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of Inter-Active Entertainment Systems, Inc., South Forbes City College, MAA Philippines, Asia Defense and Armaments Corp., HatchAsia, Inc., Cuyapo Rural Bank, RG Holdings, Philippine Minerals and Alloys, Inc., President and Nominee of Diversified Securities, Inc. and founder-member of the Board of Trustees of the Financial and Capital Market Training Foundation.

Mr. Garcia completed his grade school and high school education in 1981 at the St. Ignatius Loyola and in 1985 at the La Salle Military Academy in the USA. In 1991, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering minor in Mechanical Engineering from the De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines and completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2022.

Ricardo F. Banaag

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Banaag has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He previously served as the country manager of Intel Philippines for over 16 years. Before joining Intel, he also served as country manager for IBM’s Global Network and was responsible for setting up one of the first ISP’s in the Philippines.

Donald Limcaco

Chief Information Officer

Mr. Limcaco is a seasoned banking industry leader with a strong background in technology, digital transformation, and business strategy. As the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Bank of Commerce, he successfully communicated the bank’s vision for digital modernization and engagement through IPO and Corporate Bonds analyst calls. He developed a comprehensive 3-year roadmap to transition from legacy technologies to cloud-enabled solutions, emphasizing services architecture and a shift from CapEx to OpEx. Additionally, Mr. Limcaco played a crucial role in shaping the bank’s payment strategy, enabling digital payments through an Open API Framework and partnerships with established providers.

Prior to his role at Bank of Commerce, Mr. Limcaco served in various leadership positions at BDO Unibank, Inc. Here, he led business transformation and digital delivery as the Senior Vice President of Business Strategy and Design. He collaborated with executives to redefine the bank’s strategy in the face of the “New Normal,” incorporating customer behaviors, business intelligence, and proven methodologies. Furthermore, he spearheaded digital transformation and accelerator programs as the Senior Vice President of the Digital Development Group, focusing on agile development, CX/UX design, cybersecurity, cloud computing, fintech integration, and automation.

In summary, Mr. Limcaco’s career highlights his expertise in driving digital transformation, aligning business and technology strategies, and delivering impactful results in the banking industry. His roles encompass leadership in technology implementation, digital strategy development, and successful change management during mergers and acquisitions.

Mark Allan E. de Ungria

Chief Revenue Officer

Mr. De Ungria has worked in the Academic Franchise industry for seven (7) years with Informatics Computer School and MTC Academy, extensively worked in the Philippine Gaming industry for more than 15 years, he served as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Internet Casino Stations and Remote Gaming Platform under DFNN Group of Companies.

He is a Director of LuckyU, Inc.  since year 2021, a corporation that operates both land-based gaming stations under INSTAWIN and remote gaming platform / on-line casino (RGP) under INPLAY. Director of Triple Seven Gaming, Inc. since 2016 a corporation that manages Gaming Stations in various locations in the Philippines.

Graduated with a Business of Science degree in Commerce Major in Marketing in Philippine School of Business Administration.  A member of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) San Beda College – Mendiola and also a graduate of National University of Singapore on Digital Marketing in year 2021.

Abigail A. Garcia

Investor Relations and Communications Officer

Ms. Garcia brings to DFNN a vast experience in the financial and legal industries. Prior to joining the company, she served as the Corporate Governance Officer of the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. She also previously held roles in Reed Elsevier Philippines, HSBC Philippines and Philippine Dealing System Holdings Corporation.

Ms. Garcia holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nueva Caceres and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Communication from Ateneo de Naga University.

Elisaire T. Lacson

Chief Financial and Investment Officer

Prior to his appointment in DFNN, Mr. Lacson served as an Audit Manager in SGV & Co., a member practice of Ernst & Young Global, Limited. He was also formerly the Group Controller of the 11-firm EYCO Group of Companies and the Audit Supervisor of Al-Rashed, CPA’s in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Lacson is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Alumni Association of the Asian Institute of Management (AAIM).
